1. My Coptic Church. The church of the Lord
Ancient and Strong, I wish her long life
In the early years, After the birth of Christ
St. Mark came bearing, The light of the true faith
He dwelt in the land, proclaiming salvation
In the name of our Redeemer, Christ who removed our sins
2. The Copts then believed, in the Lord Jesus
And Joy filled all the cities of Egypt
In a very very short time, He abolished all idols
The cross was exalted, the sign of the faith
Satan quickly rose, to war the Son of God
He stirred the rulers, emperors and armies
3. He then declared war, on the sons of the faith
Deny your Christ, or be thrown in the fire
Our honored fathers, elders and youngsters
Were not moved by pain, distress nor dishonor
But said courageously, forward no turning back
We don't fear fire, Our Lord is Jesus Christ
4. They were beaten and imprisoned, they lived in oppression
They were burned and killed, and tasted every pain
By the power of their faith, they overcame their pains
And remained believing in, the King of Peace
With blood and suffering, they bought the faith
And preserved it for us, in the name of Our Savior
5. Let us all rise, from our laziness
With diligence seeking, the heavenly rewards
The Church of the Fathers, you are our pride
To her success, let us all join together

The cross is the central symbol for Christians, not only as the instrument of the world's salvation by the crucified Christ, but also as the constant witness to the fact that men cannot be Christians unless they live with the cross as the very content of their lives in this world, if any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. احفظني يا الله لأني عليك توكلت قلت للرب: أنت سيدي . خيري لا شيء غيرك القديسون الذين في الأرض والأفاضل كل مسرتي بهم تكثر أوجاعهم الذين أسرعوا وراء آخر. لا أسكب سكائبهم من دم، ولا أذكر أسماءهم بشفتي الرب نصيب قسمتي وكأسي. أنت قابض قرعتي حبال وقعت لي في النعماء، فالميراث حسن عندي أبارك الرب الذي نصحني، وأيضا بالليل تنذرني كليتاي جعلت الرب أمامي في كل حين، لأنه عن يميني فلا أتزعزع لذلك فرح قلبي، وابتهجت روحي. جسدي أيضا يسكن مطمئنا لأنك لن تترك نفسي في الهاوية. لن تدع تقيك يرى فسادا تعرفني سبيل الحياة . أمامك شبع سرور. في يمينك نعم إلى الأبد

Arise O Lord God, let all your enemies be scattered and let all that hate your holy name flee before your face, but let your people be in blessing thousands of thousands and ten thousands times ten thousands doing your will.
By the grace compassion and philanthropy of your only begotten son our Lord God, and saviour Jesus Christ, though whom the glory the honour the dominion and the adoration are due unto you with him and the holy spirit the life giver who is of one essence with you now and at all times and unto the age of all ages Amen.
قم أيها الرب الإله وليتفرق جميع أعدائك وليهرب من قدام وجهك كل مبغضى اسمك القدوس وأما شعبك فليكن بالبركه الوف الوف وربوات ربوات يصنعون إرادتك بالنعمه ومحبه البشر الواتى لابنك الوحيد الجنس ربنا والهنا ومخلصنا يسوع المسيح، لك المجد والقوه من الان الى الابد والى دهر الدهور امين |
